End of the second rotation.

silvainsims_archiveI've just finished playing the Vetinari house, and I've got *tons* of pictures and a few arghmustyoudothistome moments with ACR and with sim births.
Anyway, that pretty much covers what's happened this rotation, and next rotation should have births, toddlers, and *hopefully* more promotions, as almost everyone has the job for their LTW if they have a job LTW.

First off, Like I said in the halfway update, Marina's kids were born- Kato and Linnaea. She and Ben are engaged, Doc Nerd is having Ben's kid, Prof. Butters is pregnant (the least chaotic and confusing pregnancy story so far), and Purplebunny married the gardener and is having his kid.
Since then, here's what's happened- my simself's son was born, his name is Daniel. He is absolutely adorable, though I may be slightly biased. He did not, in fact, get black hair- he got brown like Jake- but since he doesn't have his father's nose (and Jake does), they'll be pretty easy to tell apart. Immediately after he was born... ACR took over again and my simself is... pregnant *again*. Rhys should be very glad I like him too much to torture him for this, though I really mind a lot less after seeing Daniel as a toddler- he grew up on the last day, just in time for my simself to start teaching him to walk before I switched to Julia's house.
Julia had twins- I think both have brown hair, but I'm not sure, one might have black- a boy and a girl. At first, I was annoyed, then I couldn't help but laugh- she saved me the trouble of looking up roman names by throwing me the best pair she possibly could (boy-and-girl twins), since I could just name them after her kids in Ten Caesars (which is good, because I'm lazy and hate looking up names). (nonetheless, too many twins in the neighborhood by now.)
Not much happened at the Goodytwoshoes house- Cecil got several promotions and Cecilia has an A+ and has either maxed or nearly maxed cleaning.
The Vetinari house has been the really fun one this time around. I had Larch call up the matchmaker, because he was rolling some very stubborn friend-making wants with several people, and I needed him platinum to reroll his LTW- Golden Aniversary doesn't work too well when no one's allowed to get old. He paid the full amount, as Cypress had gotten two or so promotions in a row (in a non-LTW job because his doesn't want to show up... >.< ) and they could afford it.
The matchmaker dropped Doc Nerd. Who has two bolts each with Larch and Cypress, apparently, though this is without matching turn-ons. Right after the date hit dream date, though.... she rolled the want to get married to Larch, as well as the want to get engaged. So, Larch proposed, I locked the marriage want, and ended the date to have him go reroll his LTW. Now he wants Six Grandchildren, which won't be too hard, I don't think. I also had Doc Nerd move in because Larch wanted a wedding party and I was feeling indulgent.
Ah, the wedding party. Larch invited his good friend Cecil Goodytwoshoes and Cecil's daughter (the first because Larch's only other friend he could invite has a crush on him, and the second because I wanted to see how Cecilia and Spider get along). And.... then things started lagging and I remembered why I never do this. Argh. At least the party was a roof raiser- I'm getting better at parties, obviously.
The next day, the criminal career came up in the paper (finally, as Cypress had lost his job in business due to a bad chance card), but... no promotion.I guess he wasn't in a good enough mood? He's nearly maxed the skills he needs for the job by now, so he should get promotions pretty fast as long as he's in a good mood when he goes to work.
