Finally finished the first rotation...

But it's nearly 4 AM, so I'll have to hold off til tomorrow(later today?) on the long, picture-y, explanation-y post. I'll likely edit it into this one for simplicity's sake. For now, here's a brief synopsis.

So far, there are three pregnant sims, two of which are pregnant by the same sim. Three sims have someone to flamey-thought-bubble at, one for good reason and one because apparently, they just don't get along- I probably shouldn't have expected them to, really.

There have been inappropriate conversations, odd thought bubbles, and what appeared to be someone wishing I hadn't disabled teen woohoo, despite the fact that the only other teen on the lot wouldn't have been interested in them anyway. There has been one first kiss, two sims with more than two loves, and one pairing that is going to end badly, guaranteed, unfortunately for one of the sims involved.

There has been no cursing of LTWs, though two teens rolled the same LTW as a parent did(quite surprisingly in both cases), and two other teens have the same LTW as each other and are likely to have issues with each other because of it later on.

Good luck to anyone who tries to work out who did what before I get up tomorrow and edit in the full story of it all.

The pregnancies- Marina is pregnant, as I think I mentioned before, of course. Then there's Julia Caesar, who ended up hooking up with Spencer because she was in the welcome wagon and he needed more loves for his LTW, honestly. ACR decided to make them Try for baby at some point- and the third and final pregnancy is my simself- because apparently, Rhys likes throwing my sort-of-plans for a loop (don't ask. I might explain later on.) and with ACR on his side, that's very, very easy. So, Jake's going to have a younger (full) sibling (I point out the full sibling thing because he's probably going to have younger half-siblings around at some point).

Flamey thought bubbles- Julia and Prof. Butters hate each other. I'm not sure who started it, but Prof. seems determined to stalk Julia until it escalates into a full fight- she wandered by once every couple sim hours while I was playing Julia's house. Only knocked over the can once, thankfully. The other flamey thought bubble thing is Spider Jerusalem hating the paper boy, who wouldn't stop rejecting Cassidy's flirts. Poor Cass wasn't too happy about it, so Spider fought with the paper boy, essentially.

Everything else- The amount of woohoo or kissing thought bubbles/conversations in this hood sort of makes up for how much calmer ACR is than I'd expected it to be. In fact, at one point, Cassidy Vetinari wandered by the Fitzhugh house, thinking about woohoo- my guess is,. he was wishing I hadn't disabled teen woohoo. Ironically (or is it? not sure), Jake was nearby chatting with a friend of his, I believe.

Cassidy is the only teen to have gotten his first kiss- with a teen townie whose name I can't remember offhand, but who is relatively cute with him. However, aforementioned teen townie will be doomed to townie-dom for quite a bit longer- there are better sims out there for Cass in the long run ;-) .

Spider and Cypress both rolled the LTW of Criminal Mastermind, while Cecil and Cecilia both rolled Chief of Staff (I think). Jake and Cassius both want twenty woohoos- I see a competition in the making, when they get to college.

Jake and Cecilia have a not-quite-romance going on (mostly a lot of flirting on Jake's part), which I don't think Cecil knows about. I feel sorry for Cecilia for this, but it all started when they showed up on a community lot while I was playing a different house and couldn't really stop things. There is absolutely no way I can see a happy ending in this, either.

First off- my sound was turned off for awhile, so when I realized SimMe and Rhys had gone to Try for Baby, I wasn't sure if she was pregnant or not- here are the two pics that I took when I realized she was, these happened at the exact same time.



Yeas, that is Rhys dreaming about De while SimSilvain is throwing up because he took advantage of the chaos he could cause with ACR. Thanks, Rhys, thanks a LOT. *eyetwitch* I like you a lot, but don't do this again. I have vague plans for my simself, and that most assuredly was not part of them.



Yup, that's Doc Nerd and Ben. Yes, this is what they did as soon as I set gender preferences. They have two bolts.



This happened a lot. Back and forth, almost the entire time they were at Jack and Purplebunny's house. Apparently, they have three bolts.



However, someone else got to Marina 'first' (I say first as technically, she and Ben flirted a lot in PB and Jack's house, but she and Spencer hooked up pretty quick once I got to her house, the next in the rotation after Jack and PB's.), and she's pregnant now- no proof of that, as she didn't throw up much, but she hasn't popped yet, either- but she is, as this was back when I was doing this from my laptop and didn't have the sound issues the desktop has (so I heard the lullaby).



Jack and PB's welcome wagon. I laughed so hard at this, even more so because Rhys and De didn't leave each other alone until they finally left. I'm not sure they even officially 'met' anyone else there.



In fact, mostly they stayed on the lawn or in the living room/kitchen, flirting with each other.



I have two or three pics of this- Jake and Doc Nerd's Inappropriate Kissing Conversation (which ended before he could respond because he distracted her by cheating at chess).



For the fifth time, that is.



I swear, this was the gist of the rest of their conversation- cops, handcuffs, the hammer-thingy the judge bangs in court (that I can't remember the exact term for offhand), and the like. I desperately want to make a "jailbait" joke here, but I won't, even though the crime discussion and the kissing conversation are really lending themselves to the opportunity. (Seriously, Doc, your simself is.... I can't even explain it. Insane? A bit desperate?................. Romance sim in disguise?)



Stalking the poor kid? (He probably loves it, though.)


Actually, Cecil brought Doc home with him from work, as she's stuck in the career he's in until her LTW-job comes up, and Cecilia brought Jake home from school with her. This is just a very, very strange coincidence.



Ben and Doc Nerd's welcome wagon. I think Ben's legacy sims wanted to speak with him, considering two of the three in the neighborhood came in the welcome wagon. And the last one in the welcome wagon is the wife of one of the aforementioned legacy sims.

(yes, that is Flavius in the llama suit. He's in athletic and came home with Jack [who's also in athletic, it's both their LTWs], and I hadn't played him since, as his house is first in the rotation.)



Prof and Julia got into a poking/slapping war at Ben and Doc's house (I have no clue who started it, though my best guess says Julia), and she started stalking Julia's house. This is literally the only time she kicked the can over- mostly, she stood around and flamey-thought-bubbled. Julia was home at the time and picked it up right away.



Paperboy here rejected Cassidy's flirts. Over and over. Spider didn't like this.



So, there was poking and slapping and whatnot, which led to this.

Unfortunately, Spider had no body skill points. At all.

Which lead, inevitably, to.....


This.... Don't look so smug, paperboy. He'll get you back, no matter how long it takes- and at the rate he's skilling body...


........It won't be too much longer. (I think this was at the halfway mark on body. He's also gotten fit.)




Cass, however, moves on rather quickly. He brought this guy- Ricky Cormier, I believe- home from school. Which in my (admittedly strange and twisted) mind implies that Cass likes him. (Which leads to the above picture, inevitably.)


This happened right after- Spider sat up and stared at them.



I assume he was letting Ricky know that if he hurt Cass, Spider would probably beat him up. After all, he had body points by now.



........Why do pregnant sims wander around downtown, yet half the time, they won't come over if you call them? This has never made sense to me.

Is anyone surprised that Julia and Prof hate each other? Or that Rhys is a total skank?

Spider beating up the paperboy for Cassidy is SUCH a Spider thing to do, honestly. And hopeful flirting with any available male sim is SUCH a Cassidy thing to do--playing him through college was a real adventure, I can tell you that right now. And that was WITHOUT ACR.

Oddly, Spider and Cypress have never rolled Criminal Mastermind as a LTW in Riverblossom, either Alpha OR Beta versions. Cypress was Journalism, then Education, then Max 7 Skills in Alpha, and rolled Journalism again in Beta; Spider rolled Gamer in Alpha, Journalism at the beginning of Beta, which I re-rolled to Gamer, and then he rolled Adventurer, and then he rolled Journalism.

Somehow, I get the feeling they'd both have Journalism instead if I had that EP installed, lol. It just kind of unnerved me, the whole rolling the exact same LTW thing.

Lol, Rhys isn't so bad- Spencer has four loves(so far, and that's in just two days, YAY!) and two of them are pregnant. Rhys just has my simself, De, and I *think* Julia. Rhys is the tame one of the household (which really is saying something), technically, since Jake rolled a want that'll have him dragging half the townie girls he meets to college with him, just so I don't have to build up relationships for woohoo's sake.

LOL, yes, SimNerd is a stealth Romance Sim. She pulls those shenanigans in pretty much EVERY neighborhood I've seen her in.

I'd bet Prof started the fight with Julia. Julia's got nice points; Prof doesn't, and I've seen her start fights when she's an uncontrollable Sim visiting community lots in other people's Legacies.

That's so cute the way SJ stuck up for Cassidy. It's totally the sort of thing he would do. You DO NOT MESS with the people the meanies like. Probably should've waited until he got some Body skill and fitness, though. I like the Fight Club hack from MATY myself--also factors in Logic and Mechanical, plus the number of fights they've been in/won before. Stops the randomness of standard fight outcomes, which SHOULD factor in Body and fitness, but don't.

Cassidy's ability to rebound and his ability to score positive relationship points are staggering. In college, he had the burglar who broke into Cy's on his contact list, and I had him call up the burglar for a date. The burglar kept rejecting him, so I made him selectable and checked his relationship with Cass, and it turned out to be negative. Why he agreed to go out with Cass in the first place, I don't know, but I changed gears, and ended up getting the burglar in bed with Cass by the end of the date. They got caught by one of Cass's Dormie boyfriends, who was broken-hearted--right up until three days later, when he'd calmed down and Cass sweet-talked him back into bed.

Mehehehe--looks like MY SimSelf's not the only one having naughty conversations!

I should have Gilbert re-uploaded later today or tomorrow. Because his genetics are different from his appearance, sometimes I have to re-extract him to get normal-looking Gilbert and not "SWEET LORD WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS CHIN" Gilbert. Right now, Jay Leno Gilbert is lurking in the Sim Bin, and that is not a good thing.

It's quite possible Prof started it, but the first thing I saw was Julia poking her, so I'm not sure. Prof also annoyed Larch, but for some odd reason (despite him double-minusing her for it), he let it slide....... *ponders*

Cass amazed me with how quick the relationship with Ricky built up to first-kiss stage, but I swear Paperboy (who does not deserve a name anymore, and thankfully was not my *favorite* of the paperboys, Alon) wouldn't even let him tell a joke without throwing up negatives.


I think I mentioned at one point that my simself has stealth-romance-sim-y tendencies, didn't I? Well, yeah, apparently she also has odd conversations with teenagers- though it at least could have just been about the fact that she's pregnant, maybe...? (hopefully?)- though I know for a fact that if Spider were an adult, she'd be pretty much stalking him- I think they had three bolts in one of my old neighborhoods.

I'm not kidding when I say Jake probably likes the odd attention. He's a slightly desperate romance sim with a locked first kiss want, and most teen townie girls seem to hate him, so.... yeah, he's probably eyeing SimYou as a potential love when he grows up, honestly.

OK, Gilbert's all re-uploaded, without the scary Doom Chin.

And I think there's some sort of glitchiness where Sims with the same Aspiration created in the same household in CAS will roll the same LTW. It's happened to me on more than one occasion, which would explain what you saw--even PB, in her last update, said that the SimSelves in SimNerd's house all rolled the same LTW, aside from Jonny, and they're all Knowledge, aside from Jonny. So you might wanna take that as an opportunity for a free re-roll, if you're so inclined.

Meh, that might explain Spider and Cy, but the Cecil and Cecilia one is still odd- they're *not* the same aspiration. Honestly, though, I like it- it cuts down on skilling items they'd need to buy, and I'm not cheating anyone money because things get too easy if I do.
